Self Storage facilities have a selection of unit sizes that you can rent ranging from a small locker to the 40ft containers. You can rent the unit for a short term or for the long term (minimum charge is one month’s rent). You bring your goods to the storage centre, lock them in the unit you have pre-selected, and you can then access your goods as many times as you wish during customer access hours. Only you or someone you nominate, have access to your unit.

StorageCube is a family owned and operated self storage facility in Betwen the Albany and Orewa, 10 minutes north of Albany on the North Shore. StorageCube has 5,000 square meters of space for your possessions, 150 storage units, we’re passionate about our business, we want to do a great job of looking after your treasured possessions. We offer self storage solutions for customers in Orewa, Whangaparaoa, Silverdale, Gulf Harbour, Hibiscus Coast, Dairy Flat, Rodney, Albany and the North Shore.

At StorageCube you can store almost anything including household items, such as furniture, retail stock, tools, equipment, files, documents and sports equipment. We also provide vehicle storage for cars, boats, trucks, caravans and campervans.

Prohibited goods include, foodstuffs, hazardous and dangerous goods, chemicals, flammable liquids and gases,
ammunition, explosives, drugs and drug associated chemicals and paraphernalia,  livestock, small engines, or gas bottles (unless they are emptied).

• $70 Deposit of Cleaning Fee(Refundable subject to the unit being clean and undamaged)

You can move in on the same day you make your booking providing you have the relevant documentation needed to complete and sign your License Agreement. A drivers license(front and back) or Passport, payment of a deposit and the first month’s rent must be made prior to moving in.

StorageCube have no fixed period for containers and individual units. This provides you with increased flexibility. You can move in or move out anytime you like. either party can terminate the agreement by providing 14 days written notice. No reason would be required.

NOTE: Our mini warehouses have a minimum term lease.

The price for storage you are quoted includes GST. You will need a padlock to secure your unit door and we recommend you insure your goods whilst they are in storage. A refundable deposit(Cleaning Fee) of $70 is payable at the commencement of storage and is refunded when you vacate your storage room once the Access Key is returned, and subject to the unit being clean and undamaged.

Yes, We sell a range of boxes, packaging materials and locks to help you move in. You can find and purchase products online in our Box Shop. or please contact us for information about our Packaging items and prices.

We have trolleys available free of charge for customer’s use.

Yes, there will be a legal agreement that is signed by yourself and StorageCube that will outline the terms and conditions of your usage of the facility. This will be provided to you in accordance with our relationship to the Self Storage Association of Australasia.

Our preferred method of payment is by direct debit(Ezidibet) or credit card authorisation(autopay link to securely update their credit card details), although you can also pay by online payment system(Storpay pay online using their credit card). also we can hold your credit card on file, and process rent automatically for you, Storage hire is paid monthly in advance when moving in and pro-rated when you move out. Monthly invoices are not normally issued unless specifically requested.

Rent is payable monthly in advance. However, we only ask for two weeks notice when you vacate your unit and we refund any unused rent.

For long term storage, if you pay 12 months in advance, you get the 13th month free.

You have to take your belongings to our storage centre. You can choose to use a moving company or your own vehicle to bring your goods into the storage. We also offer vans and trailers for hire which you can use to help with the move(Please refer to the situation at that time).

StorageCube customers can take advantage of special discounts arranged by local moving companies to take the stress out of moving and make moving easy.

You only pay for the storage you have used as we request that you give us 14 days' notice of your intention to vacate. therefore you will be refunded by direct credit if you choose to vacate your premises – provided there are no other arrears outstanding on your account. A bank account number will need to be supplied upon expiry of your Agreement.

Our minimum term of rental is one month. We require two weeks notice prior to you vacating your storage unit. Refunds will be paid into your bank account by direct credit.

Rent is paid monthly in advance by Direct Debit. If your account falls more than 3 days in arrears, you will be denied access to your unit and Late fees may be applied to your account. Please do not be offended as full access will resume once your account has been paid. Our access hours 7am - 7pm(7 days). If you are here after 7:00pm any night than we may charge an Alarm Callout fee of $105.00 per Callout

NOTE: We may over lock your storage unit and restrict your access to our storage facility until you all arrears are received in cleared funds. If rent is not paid according to the Terms of the Agreement a 10% late fee per day will be added after 28 days for overdue rent. If any amount you owe us remains outstanding for more than 42 days after the due date the contents of your storage unit may be sold by auction(Your consent is not required), to recover any amounts you owe us, in accordance with the terms contained in the Agreement.

StorageCube have heavily invested in security systems and procedures to add to the security of your belongings while in storage. The alarm on your storage unit is automatically de-activated when you use your access key card to enter the facility so you are able to access your unit.

We have the following security measures in place:

• 24/7 CCTV recorded surveillance
• Access Controls Systems in place
• Secure Electric Fence around the perimeter of the entire site
• High security perimeter lighting
• Daily Lock checks

Only you will have the key and access to the storage unit you have booked. You will bring your own lock to secure the storage unit. StorageCube does not keep a copy of the key to your storage unit.

Yes, you will require a padlock to help secure the storage unit you have booked with us. This will ensure only you and people you trust have access to the unit. We also sell a range of locks in our online store if you need to buy one.

Insurance is ultimately your responsibility and your decision, however we advise you to insure your goods whilst in storage. If we damage your contents by accident or negligence our insurance will cover the damage.
